Jesmonite Gloss Sealer as the name suggest provides a High Gloss Finish and is compatible with all the products in the Jesmonite range of products. It provides a High Gloss finish and provides Water and Stain resistance.Jesmonite® Gloss Sealer is a pure acrylic coating compatible with all Jesmonite composites, from AC100 to AC830. It’s a durable, flexible product designed with the inclusion of a specially formulated Gloss finish, exactly what many users have been asking for.
This new product is easily applied by way of brush, roller, or spray and similarly can be diluted in a variety of formats to achieve variations in finish.
Products treated with Gloss Sealer will require re-coating at 6-to-10-year intervals unless they are being cleaned regularly, then re-coating is recommended sooner. Overcoating with this product is suitable. Ensure that the surface is dust and contaminant free prior to re-application.
Gloss sealer Application
We recommend for best results that two coats of Gloss Sealer should be applied, with the first coat being diluted with 10 to 50% water. Diluting the first coat will aid the bonding process of the Gloss Sealer.
The second coat is applied once the initial diluted coat is touch dry. Do not allow the first coat to dry completely before applying the second coat. The application of several thin coats is preferable to one thick coat.
Remember that small quantities of Gloss Sealer go a long way - do not over apply the product and apply in small doses to control the process.
