When adding Mica Pigment Powders to any Epoxy or Polyester Casting Resin you will find that a very small amount goes a very long way. The best way to pigment resin for your project is to prepare your resin and then add the pigment in very small increments at a time. It is a good idea to use a tiny spoon and even then only half fill this. One third of a nail full of pigment will go a long way!!
Once you have added a little pigment, mix well while not aerating the body of the resin, then see if you are happy with the opacity and vibrance of the colour and if needed. Add further small amounts until you have the desired final result. Once you have mixed your pigment you are ready to pour into your chosen project.
